Tucked in next to the river bed just southwest of Target, Westminster Sensory Park is a great place to play. It’s one my daughter has requested over and over, and it’s easy to see why. This park is designed with all kinds of kids in mind; the main part of the playground is wheelchair accessible, and has lots of little activity centers that go beyond the usual slides and ladders. When I was asked to write for this blog, I had a long litany of excellent parks and museums that I wanted to write about, and I definitely didn’t see myself writing about a consignment store as a fun place to take your kids. Teenie Greenies is, however, one of the places my daughter asks to visit because she has, in her own words, so much fun whenever we go.
